The Annals of Information Systems (AIS) comprises serialized volumes that address specialized topics relating to information systems. Each book is a serialized volume written by experts on the topic. These books (i.e. serialized volumes) are available to the general public as individual books, or all of the books as a serialized collection. The Annals of Information Systems is allied with the Integrated Series in Information Systems (IS2).

Reader Note: Both the Annals of Information Systems and the Integrated Series in Information Systems are two collections of books (i.e. serialized volumes) published by Springer. Readers can survey the titles and introductions of the books to see what the areas relating to information systems are while familiarizing themselves with the authors who are considered experts in those areas. Individual books (i.e. serialized volume) offer readers an opportunity to gain understanding with respect to the topic the specific book covers if they obtain and read it.
